Registration and welcome: 9:00 to 9:30
Session 1, grammar and conversation: 9:30 to 12:30
Session 2, let’s make lunch*: 12:30 to 1:00
Lunch and break (but the conversation keeps going):1:00 to 3:00
Session 3, Italians in the kitchen**: 3:00 to 4:00
Session 4, grammar, conversation, and review: 4:00 to 5:30
Aperitivo*** and arrivederci!: 5:30 to 6:00***
* Students will help with the table set up and minimal lunch preparation and start getting acquainted with the kitchen vocabulary
** Learn recipes, how an Italian meal is organized and other peculiarities about Italians at the table
*** Aperitivo is a MUST in the Italian culture and goodbyes can be long
Costo: $150, 6 intensive hours of instruction, food and wine included
The program will focus on conversation, pronunciation, reading and idiomatic expressions of the beautiful Italian language, recipes, games, and, yes, some music too! It will be a fun day to practice Italian and experience the Italian culture from native teachers

Intensive Italian Summer Camp
The new Italian language and culture immersion camp at Tam Community Education is open to kids between 3 and 9 and children between 10 and 14 who have a passion for Italy. It is a great opportunity to learn a new foreign language with highly educated native speakers as teachers. In this two week or four week full immersion Italian camp students will learn Italian through interactive activities such as music and videos.
Participants will also learn about all aspects of Italian life, history and culture and they will be stimulated to speak Italian during the two-hour sessions. The studenti will leave with a better understanding of la bella lingua and Italian life.
ITALIAN MINI-CLUB (3-9 years old)
June 16-June 26 (10:00-12:00) Monday to Thursday - Session I
June 30-July 10 (10:00-12:00) Monday to Thursday - Session II
Learn Italian in a fun and engaging two week and four week musical experience. Through songs and dance your child will familiarize him/herself with la bella lingua.Taught by Italian language teacher Sara Bianchi Chamberlin and pianist/composer, Fabio Sironi of Musimax (www.musimax.us).
Cost: $300 per session + $30 material fees

ITALIAN JUNIOR CLUB (10-14 years old)
June 16-June 26 (1:00-3:00) Monday to Thursday - Session I
June 30-July 10 (1:00-3:00) Monday to Thursday - Session II
A unique, project-based curriculum teaches older children both basic and intermediate Italian. Through digital photography and video students will utilize their newly acquired language skills to produce a custom DVD highlighting their two week or four week experience in the Italian Junior Club.Taught by Italian language teacher Sara Bianchi Chamberlin. Cost: $300 per session + $30 material fees
